There are some amazing chorf (chaos dwarf) miniatures. Angry little guys with HUGE hats, monstrous bull centaurs and sneaky hobgoblins.
I had a large force of the pewter miniatures in the early 90’s that I remember fondly, though I never remember actually winning a game with them.
I don’t recall ever finishing painting the army, which I eventually sold, but after 3d printing highlands miniature dwarfs at the incorrect scale for old werld, I looked at the internet, saddened I was going to have to start again….
Then I saw how much chorf stuff there was to download and print. I really liked the MoMminiatures Lammasu:

An almost complete army… One of the things that wasn’t right was the bull centaurs.

This was the old edition, which to my knowledge is identical to the new one minus some errata (which are also available to download).
There are 90’s versions .stl files of the bull centaurs, but these looked comical on the new bases, and didn’t look good scaled up.
The new ones for AoS are better, but they didn’t look quite right, and are expensive.
There are old ForgeWorld ones, but these are extremely expensive and resin.
The BloodBowl ones look good, but would need some conversion, and there are only two of them:

In the end I decided to try and create my own. I wanted the old style aesthetic, the new size and at least three minis.
3D STL Designs:
These have the huge hats, the curly hair, the tusks and obvious anger issues.
There may be more zBrush tweaks coming soon, but I intend to print and paint them quickly.
